How to regenerate the EDI module in ultrapure water equipment?

After running the ultrapure water equipment for a period of time, the internal water channel of the EDI module may be blocked. This is mainly because the EDI influent contains more solute and forms a salt precipitate in the concentrated water chamber. In this case, we can clean the EDI module by performing EDI chemical cleaning, and then carry out EDI regeneration to restore the original technical characteristics. So how do ultrapure water equipment regenerate EDI modules?

There are two cases of EDI regeneration, one is the standard case and the other is the special case.
First, the standard
1. Confirm that there are no chemical residues in the EDI module.
2. Make the system a closed loop self-circulating pipeline;
3. Adjust all flow and pressure according to the normal operation mode;
4. Power the EDI, adjust the current from 2A and slowly load the current to the EDI (maximum of 4A);
5. Until the water resistivity reaches the process requirement or >18MΩ.

Second, special circumstances
1. For the construction of the system self-circulating piping system in the system, the following steps can be used for regeneration;
2. Confirm that there are no chemical residues in the EDI module.
3. Adjust each flow valve according to 70% of the normal operating flow of the system;
4. Each pressure and pressure difference is adjusted according to the operating regulations;
5. Power the EDI, adjust the current from 2A and slowly load the current into the EDI (maximum of 4A);
6, until the water production resistivity process requirements or > 18MΩ;
